What is the problem with Google Fonts and GDPR?
By default, Google Fonts loads typefaces from Google's servers — in doing so, your visitors' IP addresses are transferred without their consent. Since a 2022 ruling by the Munich Regional Court, this has been a recognised legal risk. We host the fonts locally so no data is sent to Google.
Do I really need a cookie consent banner?
Yes — as soon as you use non-essential cookies or tracking services (e.g. Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel), prior consent is legally required. We set up a legally sound banner that only loads what the user has permitted.
How long does a GDPR audit of my WordPress site take?
