Is the free version of Polylang enough?
For simple sites often yes. For WooCommerce, string translation or DeepL integration you need Polylang Pro. We recommend the right variant upfront.
Can I switch from Polylang to WPML (or vice versa)?
Yes, a switch is possible but tricky. We migrate translations and links in a controlled way, test everything and avoid lost content or broken URLs.
Why aren't menu texts or buttons translated?
Such strings often come from the theme or plugins and must be captured separately via string translation. That's exactly what we set up cleanly.
Does Polylang slow down my site?
Barely. Polylang is lean. But we ensure clean caching configuration per language so performance and translations don't get in each other's way.
