Do I need the Pro version for TranslatePress SEO?
For hreflang, translated slugs and multiple languages yes – the SEO Pack is only in the paid plans. We tell you upfront which plan is enough.
Is automatic DeepL translation good enough?
As a base yes, but never unchecked. We pre-translate automatically and manually correct key pages in the visual editor so tone and SEO are right.
Why aren't some texts detected?
Dynamic content, sliders or certain page builder elements aren't captured automatically. We track down such strings and include them in the translation.
Is TranslatePress GDPR-compliant when using Google Translate?
Automatic translation runs via an API and stores the translation locally, not as a live redirect to Google. We configure it in a privacy-friendly way.
